Chibi's One-Week NYC Venture

Chibi was invited to spend some time at NYC during her birthmonth [June] (^o^) Therefore, armed with a few essential things [namely IDs + clothing + money + some toys can't live without] Chibi ventures to the Big Apple.

ちび到達不久, 剛好是East River Ferry啟航的日子! They offer the first 11 days of their service free of charge!! Who can say no to free ferry ride across the East River? (^_^) 有免費遊小輪坐, 真開心呀~ And of course, Chibi started her 1st day of sightseeing on the free ferry ride. 雖然並不是第一次到紐約市, 但確實是第一次坐小輪過河呢。從船上觀賞Manhattan的景色還真是別有風味。之前也只是從橋上看過而已, 一覽無遺的河邊景色真的好美喔! Definitely recommend anyone planning to visit NYC to ride on a boat/ferry at least once before they leave!

NY Public Library @ 42nd St

This is not the first time Chibi visits the city, so she decided to walk from the final ferry stop [34th Street & FDR] to the world famous West 42nd Street/Broadway.途中經過不少有名的建築物, 如: Macy's @ Herald Square, Korean Town, Fashion District, Grand Central, Bryant Park…… So glad she decided to take this nice long walk; the weather was really nice & Chibi was able to visit all the great places on the way there, really enjoyed it a lot.

After the ferry sightseeing trip, Chibi have visited Time Square at least two more times~! (^,^) With the many stores and various events happening,

the street is as crowded as always!! Tourist-Chibi had quite a hard time trying to move around within the crowds... (~_~)^{~how come Chibi has to be so tiny...} But being able to visit this great place is totally worth getting push around for a bit. Chibi was even able to catch a glimpse of people setting up for a special Transformers: Dark of the Moon Movie Opening event!!

家に帰る前に映画-「Turtle: The Incredible Journey」のアドバンススクリーニング招待されました! (*´▽｀*) Chibi simply love this movie!! Learned a lot more about the loggerhead turtle, and it is really amazing the journey this little turtle takes in her life!! Too bad this is not a major release... This movie really get people to seriously think more about protecting the marine life. More people should start to realize that, what we do to our planet will also greatly affect all other animals that live here too.

アリガトウ、㊙ちゃん!!! （◡‿◡＊）♪～ Thanks for a really great time in NYC, this is by far the greatest birthday gift Chibi've received!! At the end, Chibi didn't get to visit any of the Broadway shows during her trip... But she can always visit NYC again~ right? (≧﹏≦) ......Can't wait to see who can top this record for next year!! Already looking forward to June 2012 (≧ ω ≦)
